In our strive to become energy independent, this is the next step in my plan. To make a difference by doing what can be done on an individual level. Without the backing of corporate America! Contact me if you would like to convert your old car to a battery powered vehicle. We can all make a difference if we want to.

The Fist Day with the donated 1987 S10 Blazer It has front end damage due to a wreck, I am working on that and a little body work, but the price was right.

Day two, breaking tools and taking out as much as I can Removed the interior and what do you have?

Day 3, finally, the engine is out! I used a furniture lift with a L-beam bolted to it. Lifted out like a charm once I found out how to get the flywheel unbolted from the torque converter. On my S10 you have to get under the engine and rotate the engine by hand three times to get to each bolt. It wasn't that bad, just like the rest of it, I just had to do it. I kept the Air Conditioner, brakes and power steering in tact.
